My Best Film Essay

In the power of one the character was revealed in many ways. Firstly  how PK was brave throughout the movie  when the elephant walked up to him and put his trunk on PK. Some of the bravery times for PK was when he got tied up and he still wasn’t scared. The director for ‘The Power Of One’ was John G Avildsen.  It was mainly about PK for the whole movie and how he got picked on. Although for his chicken that the boy killed he was scared what they were going to do and he would never survive again.

S- How PK was brave and all the times he got picked on nothing stopped him from changing anything.   

E- How the boy tied up PK’S chicken  in the rope hanging from the roof and the boy that killed him had a rope I think in his hand and whipped the chicken.

X- For the chicken when the guys tied his feet together and hung him from the roof Pk was yelling “ No not my chicken, Not my Chicken” but it was too late as they whipped the chicken. When they whipped the chicken it make PK feel upset as that was his only friend he had and he slept with it every night. It make me think why the boys hung up the chicken as it did nothing wrong but I guess it was because of PK and how he treated the boys.

X- That he didn’t want his chicken to get whipped as it was his only friend he had as all the boys picked on him and the chicken was the only thing that kept him happy as his mother didn’t want him anymore. X- Y-
